ATF Gala, 2022

"Scholarships are not the only method to overcoming barriers towards college retention and what we see tonight is that this community support is so necessary. With that proper support young people are able to shatter glass ceilings, break down barriers and the work of this foundation brings us one step closer to a more just and equitable world; one wherein young people are given the opportunity to thrive and lead."

Sumbul Siddiqui

Cambridge Mayor

A heartfelt thank you from all of us at the Anaya Tipnis Foundation, for joining us to celebrate our Annual Gala on October 13, 2022 at the Temple Beth Shalom.

It was a lively evening marked by the moving words of MA State Representative Dan Sena, Cambridge Mayor Sumbul Siddiqui and State Senator Rebecca Rausch. And our student panel offered invaluable insight on the triumphs and challenges of navigating college as a first-generation and/or low-income student.

With your generosity, we were able to raise $50,000 to offer much needed scholarships to first-generation and low-income college students.

Thank you again for joining us for a poignant and impactful evening.
